It's only minutes away (less than 3 miles) from SeaWorld, Old Town with it's excellent Mexican Restaurants and Belmont Park and it's authentic wooden roller-coaster and indoor Olympic size “plunge” both built in the 1920’s. Belmont Park is also the home of “The WAVE.” Just 7-8 miles away is the world famous San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, SeaPort Village, downtown San Diego's GasLamp Quarter, the Convention Center and Petco Park and the Embarcadero with it’s many floating maritime museums such as the Midway aircraft carrier and the tall ship “The Star of India.  LegoLand is just a half hour away, 40 minutes to The Wild Animal Park, 75 minutes to the quaint historic gold rush town of Julian, in the mountains, and another 30 minutes beyond that is beautiful Anza Borrego Desert State Park, the largest park in America. Even Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm can be done as a day trip. Mexico is only 25 minutes away. If the usual tourist sights are not your thing, kick back and enjoy Pacific Beach's trendy boutiques and nightclubs or its wide white-sand beaches and boardwalks that go on for miles. You don't even need a car. Everything you need is within four blocks including grocery stores, drug stores, all kinds of shops, restaurants, bars, and both Mission Bay and Pacific Beach. If you do have a car, this house has a driveway that will accommodate any size vehicle. Come and stay in this centrally located house and you will still have money left to enjoy everything the San Diego area has to offer and buy gas to get there!

The living room is nice and sunny and the swivel barrel chairs are very comfortable. There is cable TV and DVD/VCR player inside this lovely tropical-looking cabinet. | |||

This new micro-fiber couch is also a queen sofabed and the coffee table/chest is really light and easy to move out of the way. The sofabed is already made up and you will find blankets for it in the "coffee table/chest." | |||

This newly remodeled kitchen has corian counter-tops and tile floors and a dishwasher. I'm sure you will find everything you need from potato pealers and quality knives to a salad-spinner and a variety of pots and pans of all sizes. | |||

Gas stove, microwave, lots of wooden spoons and other utensils and quality knives. Place mats, salad bowls, hot pads, tea pot. You name it , we have thought of it! But if you find something missing, be sure to let us know! | |||

This table will seat 6 and there are additional folding chairs in the pantry. | |||

There are new double pane windows everywhere to make this house bright and cheery. The "chair" is actually an additional fold-out single bed. There are books in the cabinet. "Leave one take one." | |||

There is a queen size top-of-the-line brand new very deep mattress with high thread count Egyptian cotton sheets for a comfortable night's sleep! | |||

This bunk bed is a double-double
instead of the usual single beds. First one I have ever seen! Again, quality
sheets and plenty of pillows on hand for your comfort. Lots of closet and drawer space, too. |

This completely fenced yard has a deck with a patio table and umbrella, beach chairs, beach cruiser bicycles, and a dog-run area. | |||

The Laundry room is just off the kitchen. We provide laundry soap and dryer sheets and cleaning supplies. | |||

Living room
includes Cable TV, DVD player and VHS player with lots of movies,
high-speed Cable and WiFi Internet Connection and phone for local calls,
pull-out queen size sofa-sleeper and a single sofa-sleeper.
Fully-equipped kitchen includes coffeemaker, microwave, toaster oven,
garbage disposal, all dishes, glasses, pots and pans for cooking,
spices, paper towels and napkins, place mats. Master bedroom has a TV
also. Each bedroom includes at least 400 count Egyptian cotton sheets,
alarm clock and lots of closet space. Bathrooms include soft, fluffy
towels, toilet paper and tissues, shampoo, body soap, hand soap and hair
dryer. There is a laundry room with free washer and dryer in the house,
laundry soap and Bounce sheets. There is parking in the driveway for
any size vehicle, a big plus in a beach area. Boogie boards,
backpack-style beach chairs, beach towels and umbrella are provided for
you. Beach toys for the kids. |
