If you want peace and quiet, this is the place. This peaceful one bedroom, one bath condo is situated on the top floor of a 4-story condominium complex offers a 180 degree totally unobstructed panoramic view overlooking the Crown Point Seabird Reserve, Mission Bay, SeaWorld and downtown San Diego. The lights at night are captivating. No mosquitoes here, it's salt water. This photo was taken at low tide but at high tide the entire bird estuary is underwater with just the highest knolls providing island sanctuaries for the sea birds.

Soak up some early morning sun on the East facing balcony while enjoying your coffee and checking your email on the wireless network.

The comfortable living room has an L-shaped couch, a huge flat screen TV, DVD/VCR, phone and awesome views.

The king bed with it's Memory foam topper and a goose down duvet has prompted many guests to comment that they have never slept so well away from home. When you sit up in bed you will be greeted with the restful morning view of the bay.

The laundry room and trash chute are only about 30 feet away.

A full time gardener and maintenance man keeps the common area of this nicely landscaped complex looking beautiful and there is a heated pool, hot tub, well-equipped exercise room and a sauna as well as a respectable "take one-leave one" library and two large gas BBQs for your enjoyment. There is even washers and dryers by the pool if you want to do your laundry while you are exercising or relaxing in the hot tub.

A two block walk will take you to the entrance to Mission Bay Park where you can put your toes in the sand or leisurely stroll, jog, or bicycle for miles on the boardwalk that runs along Mission and Sail Bays and over to the ocean.

Here is a comment from one of my guests:

Nancy Just wanted to drop you a quick note to say that the Crown Point Penthouse is all that I could ask for and more.  As you know, my job has had me traveling like this for the past year and a half and I have to tell you this is the first time that I actually look forward to the end of the day so that I can go to my temporary home.  Previously, my routine was to work until I could hardly stay awake and than return to my drab motel room with dinner-to-go from some no name restaurant.  Your place has changed all that THANK YOU!

Mike

I'm sure you would be just as pleased to call this lovely condo your temporary home!

Aerial view of Crown Point

The living room has a nice view of the bird reserve, Mission Bay and downtown San Diego. The overstuffed L-shaped couch is very comfortable with it's soft-to-the-touch fabric.

There is an extra large flat-screen TV with Cable/DVD/VCR.

I have hung a collection of 9 beautifully-framed fabulous close-up photos of the sea birds that frequent the Estuary.

Dining/game table with comfortable rolling chairs.

The kitchen has a dishwasher, stainless refrigerator, glass-top stove and oven, microwave and toaster-oven.

Bathroom has a nice soaking tub/shower and yes, a toilet!

The king-size bed has a memory foam topper over the firm mattress and a “light as a feather” goose down duvet for an excellent night's sleep. This room has been changed a little, too (for the better) since this photo was taken. There is a plasma TV on Cable, of course, and DVD, about 16 ft of closet space with mirrored doors.

Have your morning coffee outside and soak up a little early morning sun with the sound of the birds in the background and lovely views of Mission Bay.

The pool area is delightful and includes a hot tub, exercise room, sauna and two large stainless steel gas BBQs, plus a library of take one-leave one novels.

Enjoy the sunrise over the estuary from the deck with morning coffee or tea.

The building is lovely and very nicely maintained. There is a security door entry and a security guard on duty all night walking around the building and parking areas.
