Events of September 11th and United's bankruptcy caused me to take an extended (4 year) furlough from United Airlines' Paris base so my wonderful Paris apartment is available for YOU to enjoy while I'm in San Diego.

This one-bedroom apartment has the privacy of two bedrooms. Living room door closes and occupants of each room have access to toilet, bathroom, and kitchen without disturbing the other; important when you first arrive and jet-lag makes for irregular sleeping hours. Twin beds in bedroom can be pushed together to make a king-size bed. Very comfortable double-size, fold-down couch in living room. Bathroom has big soaking tub and shower.

Fifth floor apartment with elevator big enough for several people and their luggage! All-glass living room wall opens wide onto private balcony overlooking center gardens (please water my flowers!). No city noise. Light and sunny. View of lovely Victorian buildings. Loads of closet space (rare in Paris) to keep apartment orderly.

Everything you need to cook your own gourmet meals. Go French and get fresh food at nearby Poncilet, one of the largest daily outdoor markets in Paris, or if you prefer a US-style grocery store (with peanut butter, cereal, etc.) Galleries Gourmand is also nearby.

Convenient location. Walk five minutes to Arc de Triomphe Metro station where metro lines #1, #2, #6, and the RER-A will whisk you quickly to anywhere in the city. Most of the important streets of Paris radiate out from the Arc de Triomphe. Also walk to the Air France bus which goes nonstop to the airport every 15 minutes. Excellent neighborhood, prestige apartment building located on upscale Ave des Ternes, close to lots of shops, bakeries, and restaurants.

My quiet, nicely furnished apartment has everything you need for a comfortable vacation including an extensive library of guide books and maps of the city, metro and bus system, etc.

			Enjoy Paris like a Parisian Browse the open air stalls for all your fresh foods then head to a boulangerie for some of the best breads in Paris. Final stop, some excellent but inexpensive French wine. Then head back to the apartment create your gourmet meal and enjoy.



			Free phone calls to USA, Canada, and all Western Europe. Cable TV, Cable Internet and WiFi (laptop not included). Light/airy living room with cable TV & internet, stereo, full library of tour guides, references books and a collection of fiction, all to do with living and vacationing in France. So much better than a cramped hotel!

			Beautifully decorated and functional "Click-Clack" couch easily folds down into very comfortable double bed

			Use this crank in the living room or bedroom to raise or lower the metal shutters for privacy or to reduce the light coming in.

			Make your own dinners after returning from the open air markets. Modern kitchen, coffee maker, blender, micro, toaster oven, water filter and a view.

			Full bath Shower and long, deep tub for soaking. Washer/dryer in bathroom, too, so you can pack less clothes.

			Dining area. Table & chairs for four. Open large glass balcony door for "outdoor dining."

			Arrange your bedroom to suit your needs. Twin beds can be put together or separated. LOTS of closet space and drawers.
