About Nancy & Brian
We fell in love in Paris! Notre Dame Cathedral makes such a lovely background for photos.
I was based in Paris with United Airlines from 1999 until shortly after 9-11-2003 when I took a voluntary furlough and came home to San Diego. That’s when I began renting out my apartment.  Brian and I enjoy vacationing in Paris and other parts of France about one month of each summer. I usually go back again in the winter with a girlfriend or family member “just to check on things” and visit my friends.		 Nancy and Brian in Paris
 

Welcome to Julian

Most of the time, we are enjoying our rural mountain home on 21 acres in the picturesque, historical gold rush town of Julian, NE of San Diego, CA. We have a cat named Sammy and a new kitten named DC. Brian manages an apple orchard and hosts a “U-Pick” every October. During the town’s famous “Apple Days,” I take part in the annual old-time Melodrama, as one of the singing “Floozies.” We hope to have a vacation rental in Julian some day so we can introduce people to the beauty of this area. There are no traffic lights and only one stop sign in town.

Hey there little fella, have you seen the latest news?
This is me doing what I love most, SCUBA diving. I posed for Brian with a copy of the Julian News in hopes of making the front page with this shot. It did, along with an article about our diving adventures in Rangiroa, Tahitian Islands. Brian and I often contribute photos and articles to our local paper (and they publish them!)

Tour de Lance!

Brian and I contacted the Lancel Corp. and (amazingly) convinced them of our idea to transform their sign from “Lancel” to “Lance” using a French and American flag, as a tribute to the courage and determination of cancer victim, Lance Armstrong! He is an inspiration for cancer victims around the world. The Lancel headquarters is on Paris’ famous Boulevard Champs Elysees, near the Arc de Triomphe, where the Tour de France finishes the grueling 21 day race. Don’t expect to rent our apartment on that day. We are always using it ourselves!
