Team NVR - About Us
Customer Service is our first priority! All of us at Nancy’s Vacation Rentals are dedicated to providing you with a vacation that you will long remember.... one that you will yearn to return to, time and time again!
Oddly enough, the events of 9-11 are responsible for me getting into the vacation rental business. I was a flight attendant with United Airlines, which offered 4 year furloughs to keep layoffs at a minimum. After 32 years of international flight, I decided to take the opportunity to try my hand at something new. I returned home and started renting my Paris apartment as a vacation rental. A few months later I decided to rent my San Diego bay condo as well and Nancy's Vacation Rentals was hatched.
Over time, I began to take on requests from other owners to book their vacation homes. In less than 5 years, "trying my hand at something new" grew to a full fledged business with over 25 vacation properties. Now we have over 50 rentals and a fun family business!

Being born in La Jolla, I always felt that San Diego was home and jumped at the chance to return to one of my favorite cities for college. After graduating from the University of California, San Diego, I joined the growing family business (Nancy's my aunt). It's a blast to work with my aunt, uncle, grandma, and sister-in-law on a daily basis! My passions include traveling, SCUBA diving, sailing, hiking and of course, spending time with my wife Gisenyi, our dog, and our crazy cat.
As a travel fanatic, I highly value a local contact wherever I go and am certainly happy to share my local knowledge to help you plan your vacation. San Diego is an incredible city with something for everyone!

Becky was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. She had the luxury as a young adult to travel to many vacation spots through her family's business. Her love for traveling led her to go to work for US Airways. After 15 years in a forever changing industry and many relocations, she was prompted to make a career change and that led her to where she is today. Becky feels very blessed to live in the beautiful city of San Diego, helping Nancy's Vacation Rentals' guests plan their vacation, and working for a company who makes you feel like part of their special family!

Angelina started her life’s journey in San Diego, where she was stationed shortly after joining the Navy. She then moved to the Midwest and the far East Coast. Fifteen years later, when the opportunity to move back to San Diego presented itself - she couldn't pack fast enough! Her two daughters who are 16 and 11 keep her very busy and extremely grounded. Aside from spending time with her girls, she also enjoys any outdoor activity and Sunday Funday brunch with her friends.

Nancy Diving With a Copy of Julian's Local Paper
This is me doing what I love most, SCUBA diving. I posed for Brian with a copy of the Julian News in hopes of making the front page with this shot. It did, along with an article about our diving adventures in Rangiroa, Tahitian Islands. Brian and I often contribute photos and articles to our local paper (and they publish them!).
Nancy and Brian's outdoor Julian Wedding
Brian and I have been together since 2000 and married in June, 2008. We live in the quaint and picturesque historic gold-rush town of Julian in the mountains of San Diego with our 3 cats. We enjoy hiking, SCUBA diving in tropical destinations, bicycle riding, and participating in our community theater productions.
