Below you will find details about our 2 bed/ 1 bath home, Rich’s Beach Bungalow, located on the boardwalk in Mission Beach.

Some neighborhoods are just wonderful and this is one of them! Sit out on your oceanfront rooftop balcony and watch the sunset, listen to the waves and smell the fresh salt air. This second floor condo is located just two blocks north of Belmont Park in an eight unit complex and features a rooftop balcony with a BBQ. Walk down the stairs and across the boardwalk and your toes are in the sand! Watch all the activities on the boardwalk or take part yourself. The open California-style kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for dining in. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and a view! The second bedroom has two twin beds and there is a queen sofa bed in the living room. The bathroom has a shower and bathtub. We provide 2 beach cruiser bicycles, boogie boards, beach chairs, and umbrellas. 

This location is hard to beat! It's within minutes from SeaWorld, the world famous San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, Old Town with it's excellent restaurants, Belmont Park and it's authentic 1920's wooden roller-coaster, Seaport Village, downtown San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter, the Convention Center and Petco Park. Come and enjoy all that San Diego has to offer including our unbeatable weather.

Vacation rentals in San Diego are for the most part, second homes for the owners. Therefore, some furniture or decor may differ from what is pictured because the owners needed or wanted to replace something. Professional photos are expensive and we can not re-photograph the rental every time something is changed but we do maintain the listing content with any notable furnishing changes especially related to sleeping arrangements. (*Please note: We do not give refunds because a piece of furniture or artwork has changed)

*NOTE: This home is in a residential neighborhood and, as such, is a NOISE SENSITIVE property. Respect must be shown for the property and neighbors at all times. No loud music, parties, and or loud talking outside after 9 pm. Violation of these rules MAY result in immediate eviction from the property per your rental agreement, and/or fines from the San Diego Police. Please review your rental agreement for complete details and rules about your home!

It is important for you to read all the details about your property. We highlight everything you need to know about your vacation rental in our listing, through emails, some home manuals, in-home signage and phone correspondence. We want our guests to feel prepared, informed and at ease while staying with us. We are always available if you have questions! 

Upon confirming your booking, we will send you a rental agreement for your upcoming stay which you will need to complete. We will also contact you within 24 hours of the booking to obtain contact information and to address any questions or concerns you may have regarding your upcoming visit along with the House Rules & Rental Agreement. The check-in details will not be shared until the rental agreement has been signed.

If you have never stayed in a vacation rental before, we are not a hotel, WE ARE BETTER! We offer many of the same luxuries of a hotel with the comfort and space of home to share with your whole family. Our property owners are our friends and we work with each owner to offer a special, specific and ideal environment for guests to experience and enjoy. All of our homes offer similar amenities so you can expect the same experience whenever staying with us.

With that said, we need you to do your part in helping us maintain each home. Please be attentive to ALL RESPONSIBILITIES as a guest of our home. Trash/Recycling, Check-out duties, Communication to management and Care of the home all help us give each guest and family a home to feel at home in. We appreciate your assistance in making our homes and our business unlike any other!

*We provide 2 complimentary bikes for our guests. If there is any issue with the bikes we will do everything we can to fix the issue with our maintenance team, but there will be NO compensation if the issue cannot be resolved.

We like our guests to feel at home as soon as they arrive! We provide a ‘starter kit’ to help our guests get settled without needing to rush off to the store. We can provide a portable a/c for an additional fee, contingent on availability. Please contact us to reserve one in our limited inventory as soon as possible. Deliveries are scheduled 24 hours in advance.  

Our kits include: paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner, soap, linens, towels, kitchen sponges, dish soap, laundry detergent and fabric softener, dishwasher soap when applicable, trash bags, either Keurig coffee makers with k-cups or standard coffee makers, extra blankets, sometimes extra pillows, extra sheets-for sleeper sofas, hair dryers, ironing boards, kitchens fully stocked-enough for max occupancy with some extra settings, toasters, some waffle makers, blenders, tool kits, first aid kits, fire extinguishers, co2/fire detectors, and most homes have heat available.

While on vacation, we want our guests to enjoy their vacation to the fullest and we feel in order for our guests to do this, they should also feel informed. Our emails serve to educate you on your vacation rental home, the surrounding area, responsibilities, what to expect and how to get in touch with us. We respect your privacy so our emails help provide you with all you need to know to reference as you please.

In addition, most of our properties have House Manuals detailing specific information about the property, amenities and responsibilities. Not to mention an awesome section on attractions, events, restaurants and more to help guide you during your stay in San Diego!

Nancy's team responded promptly to our inquiries and called to make sure we were all set the day before and after check in. Great experience.
This property exceeded our expectations! The location is right on the beach. Nothing is in front of your amazing view. The property was clean and well equipped for our needs. We spent many hours enjoying the rooftop deck and on the beach. Having a washer and dryer in the apartment was super convenient. The beds were very comfortable and it was so nice to have extra blankets/comforters. It was a bit chilly the week we were there but we bundled up and enjoyed the deck every night. We used the bicycles and beach chairs that were supplied. They even provided plenty of beach towels. Overall the stay was excellent! We would absolutely stay here again! Thank you for such a memorable vacation!

This condo made for a incredible week with friends and family.we were visiting my son whose in the navy and found the location to be convenient to couldn't be any closer to the beach, and the balcony was a great feature for cookouts. There is a strip of resteraunts one block away and a rental place that was very Reasonably priced. Overall a great experience and will definitely visit again.

We have rented this condo several times now and look forward to going back again soon. It is the perfect beach vacation spot, packed with every thing you need to enjoy your stay. There are bikes available in the condo and we always enjoy going bike riding on the bay side and the beach side. We have three young children and they have a blast hanging out right in front of the condo playing in the sand and even swam in the ocean in the evening. My husband and I enjoy relaxing on the roof top balcony watching the sunset after dinner. We recommend this condo to all of our friends and family, it's the perfect beach vacation spot!!

We were on vacation from Maryland and had a great time at this condo in June. The place is in good condition, kitchen was fully stocked, and the BBQ had an extra propane tank-- which wasn't needed, but nice to know the owner cared enough to have it stocked. We loved the rooftop deck, as it provided privacy along with an awesome view. It wasn't too loud during the day or night except for Friday night, so we just closed the windows when we went to bed. The beach cruiser bikes provided were great and you can't beat how close the condo was to Belmont Park, without being too close. The garage is tight, so I would rent another space if you drive a big SUV or your side mirrors don't close. The grunion were running when we were there, and the kids loved chasing after the little fish. We will be back next year! Recommended for: Families with Young Children, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Adventure Seekers, Romantic Getaway, Families with Teenagers
